Claire de Lunacy

The phrase “Claire de Lune” means moonlight in French. Michael Pote has developed a creative composition drawing inspiration from the Debussy original. There is also a wonderful poem (Claire de Lune) by French author Paul Verlaine that provides a basis of color and images for your field presentation.

Each segment takes the melodic and harmonic content to a different style (pop, funk, waltz, etc). There are a few more literal renditions to keep the listener focused on the over all idea and enough variety to keep everyone engaged.
