“Smile for the Camera!” from its humble beginnings in 1826 through the instant camera and into the digital age, almost everyone loves to snap and pose for pictures. Dennis Llinas has constructed a clever and entertaining composition titled “Picture Perfect”. The opener, “Snapshots”, is faced paced and mechanical with refreshing tonalities based on the 4th. Dennis creatively captured the gears, zooms and self-shots of a camera. “Still Life” captures the beauty and reverence that is found in any still life. This lush ballad evokes images of nature and beautiful animals. The closer, “Capturing the Moment,” is an uplifting movement with hints of deviousness as it intersects the mechanical and beautiful aspects of photographers and cameras.
