JR Trimpe’s inspiration for “Industry” was to recreate the sounds of a factory. The music is filled with pulsing rhythms and exciting impacts. “Assembly Line” has an energetic, mechanical, and slightly optimistic feel reminiscent of contemporary movie soundtracks. “Daily Grind” is based on the anvil with a bit of a conveyor belt feel to it. JR’s inspiration for “Lunch Hour” is the popular photo from the beginning of the industrial revolution with all the workers sitting high above the city on a single girder. There is a sense of peace – if only for a short period of time. “End of the Line” brings back all the themes from the first half of the show plus the sense of watching the clock and waiting for the horn to blow for quitting time.
“Your band will show everyone who is boss with this industrial strength composition!”
